Spring is settling into Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, after one of the toughest winters in over two decades. Down the lane towards Doubling Gap Ranch, the cherry trees are blooming in the morning sun. The air is fresh on the expansive 325 acres, bustling with all the activities of spring and a family-run Arabian breeding farm. Some of the finest Egyptian Arabians are in the pasture, enjoying the greening grass, the foals trying out their new long legs. “I love being at the ranch,” explains John Paul (JP) Bilbrey. “My preference is to be here with a cup of coffee when everything is waking up.”
